It Can't Rain All the Time
We walked the narrow path
Beneath the smoking skies
Sometimes barely tell the difference
Between darkness and light
Do we have faith in what we believe?
The truest test is when we cannot see

I hear pounding feet in the streets below
And the women crying and the children know
That there's something wrong
It's hard to belive that love will prevail

It won't rain all the time
The sky won't fall forever
And though the night seems long
your tears won't fall forever

When I'm lonely, I lie awake at night
And I wish you were here, I miss you.
Can you tell me is there something more to believe in?
Or is this all there is?

And the pounding feet in the streets below
And a window breaks and a woman falls, there's,
There's something wrong
It's hard to belive that love will prevail.

It won't rain all the time...
Last night I had a dream
You came into my room
You took me into your arms
Whispering and kissing me
And telling me to still believe
(Within the emptiness of
The burning cities against which
We set our darkest of selves)
Until finally I felt safe and warm
I fell asleep in your arms
And when I awoke I cried again
For you were gone
Can you hear me?
It won't rain all the time
The sky won't fall forever
And though the night seems long
Your tears won't fall forever

I remember when we used to sit at the computor looking at Strawberry shortcake and My Little Pony sites. I still get the emails from when we sighned up. I loved seeing your face as you saw all the pretty ponies. I have so many memories of the little things you do and I hold on to them very close. When you would here Daddy burp and in that little giggly voice you would say scuse u daddy untile he would finally say it and then we would all laugh so much.

I remember how perfect you were on the day that you were born.  You had the sweetest little rosebud mouth, and the prettiest complexion of any baby I'd ever seen.

When the nurses let me hold you, you kind of stretched and then nestled into me as if you'd known me forever, even though you weren't even two hours old yet.

Even your little hands were perfect and you grasped one of my fingers so tightly. I already loved you so much even before you were born but it was the moment that you held onto my finger so tightly that I truly fell head over heels with you. You brought me a joy that far surpasses anything in this lifetime.

Perfect little angel with a hint of mischieviousness always there in her eyes. I remember you flitting around Lost Valley just like a little fairy. You loved it there so much.

My favorite memory is of that day and of the sound of your laughter which is missed so very much.
